Parish Councillor Vacancy

It takes all sorts
Represent your Community, make a difference

Could you contribute to the decision making, governance and management of our Village?
Each year a sum of money raised locally called a ‘precept’ is collected through your council tax. This money is invested back into your local neighbourhood by Winchester City Council to improve facilities and services for you and your neighbours.   It is your local Parish Councillors representing the aspirations of the community who will decide how to spend this money.
Colden Common Parish Council currently has a vacancy  for a Parish Councillor and is inviting applications.
If you are interested and would like further information on eligibility, the role and commitment required, please contact Debbie Harding, Parish Clerk by e-mail on clerk@coldencommon-pc.gov.uk or Richard Izard, Chairman of the Parish Council on rizard@winchester.gov.uk or 01962 712167.
The  vacancy will be filled by co-option at the Parish Council Meeting to be held on Monday 4th September at 7.30pm, in the Bert Stratton Lounge in the Community Centre, St Vigor Way.
